I heard yet another half-wit drove onto the bollards today.

As a whole wit, you've never made a mistake in your whole life then?

Anymore details or photos?

Keeping a scrapbook or something?  Not from around here, following a bus, noticed the signs just as impact occurred, hurt by airbag, car written off.

Funny, I'd never thought of him as a whole wit.

The man removed the menace of the chuggers and defeated Thames Water single handed and then went home for breakfast. How very dare you?

I wonder if anyone has (or tried to) sue WBC for the damage to their car.

If it is now considered that the signage is insufficient (which may be the case if WBC are altering and adding to the existing signs), whether this may open up the floodgates for those previously misfortuned by the barriers.

Remember, these people are potentially innocent IF it is deemed that they may not have seen the signs in time!

Think of a burglar (as the car driver), who is not potentially innocent by their actions, but if you (WBC) protect your property, YOU are potentially guilty of assault, or murder!!!

Murder?

It's a bit harsh to say they're deliberately setting out to kill people, isn't it?
