Every seat in Newbury's new cinema is already taken for this evenings performances. This means at least an extra 1,000 people in town tonight mingling with the **** artists who normally frequent the town.
The more observant of our posters will notice that the AA can't spell. The new signs erected for the cinema are directing you to the multipex. Perhaps they think it's a gym?
And finally the traffic jams have returned to the Wharf with the return of East bound traffic in Market Street. |

Presumably the Kennet Centre park is now open evenings. Surely many of them will be regular Friday nighters in Newbury spending time in the new cinema and a bit less in the pub - so the KC park should cope with the extra parking requirement. |

Yes, but ~400 cars?

Good point, so there could be rush on in the pub for half an hour before the film starts and then...empty! |

Don't forget that a lot of people live in the centre of Newbury these days, well within walking distance. No doubt someone who went will be able to let us know what the parking situation was like. |
