Two men have been arrested following a robbery at a shop in Newbury on Tuesday 3rd August.

The men, aged 52 and 41, both from Newbury, have been released on bail until Monday 9th August.

The arrests follow an incident at a shop in Blenheim Road at 2pm on Tuesday when two men entered the store and snatched money from the till, along with cigarettes and tobacco.

That poor shop owner seems to get more than her share of criminal activities. I wonder she doesn't just give up. If these two are found guilty, I hope they go down rather than a slap and a bit of community service.

So community policing, Neighbourhood watch and all that jazz really works then?

Not with Tories; crime goes up with them.
