Thames Valley Police have arrested a man after an attempted burglary in Westlands Road, Newbury yesterday 10th August.

At around 8pm offenders attempted to gain entry to a property by throwing a brick through the patio door. The offender was disturbed by a neighbour and made off.

A 29-year-old man from Skyllings, Newbury, has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and is currently being held in police custody.

Plural but singular arrest.
A rank amateur anyway there must be easier and less noisy ways of getting access to a property.

He may be told to pay compensation if found guilty but as he almost certainly won't have any money to spare he will probably be made to pay at 50p a week.
