Seems to some sort of swerve as neither of you have answered a simple yes/no question.
The dry spell started before July. Are cracks still appearing now we've had some rain?
Yes, they continue to grow. |

How the ferk do I know? And just because there might or might not be any cracks is no proof of anything. I only corrected you that we haven't just left the driest month in 80 years. I would imagine the reason for these cracks is not straight forward. My old house is built by a natural spring and there are no cracks there at all, that weren't there in previous years. How is the rest of the town doing?
I didn't say we'd just left the driest month, I said we weren't in it now. I also just asked a simple yes/no question. |

Perhaps you could tells which month you meant then, because to say: 'now we are are not in the driest month for 80 years' would suggest to me you were referring to the one we have just seen out?
I also just asked a simple yes/no question.
I think there's more to your post than a simply yes no question. But don't ask me, I haven't been to the park for a little while. It's been a bit wet lately! |

August wasn't drier than usual, the month preceding it was though.
Are cracks still appearing now we've had some rain?
Did those cracks appear in the driest years?? Are They still pumping water at the same rate?? What#s the betting we get no reply from User 23 or should we call him the worst form of publicity Tosser Carter has ever employed?? |

What happened to the Der Untergang spoof on the pavilion?
I believe it's up on the 'Save Victoria Park Newbury' facebook page. Before Constantin shot themselves in the foot, it was the subject of several complaints allegedly from the legal representatives of some (associated with the Pavillion) who felt they were lampooned in the video. They were directed to 'Arkell v. Pressdram.* and it stayed up for as long as possible. (it had over 3000 hits before it went) Threep. * The famous '"Arkell v. Pressdram" can be found here: http://gominokouhai.livejournal.com/8968.html |

IN 1965/6 the cracks were very bad after a hugely wet spring, followed by a good world cup.....? |

The wall supporting the road (and stopping it collapsing into Viccy Park) is itself collapsing by the look of it.. |
