The Corn Exchange reopens tonight after a refurbishment to the 400-seat theatre. Four comedians from London’s Jongleurs club will be in town to help the crowd unwind from work. The pre-Christmas schedules includes a host of films from Stepford Wives to Lord of the Rings, as well as art exhibitions, dance shows and brass band concerts. Decks and DJs

Victoria Park will be thumping to dance sounds on Saturday for a benefit gig. The Keep Off the Grass DJ collective are expecting more than 200 dance fans for an afternoon of chilled sounds. Although the event is free, the organisers hope to raise funds for the Sudan crisis appeal. Starts 2pm Contact alber@keepoffthegrass.net for more.

Garlands and gifts

The annual flower show in Enborne is expected to draw hundreds on Saturday afternoon.
