| Around 200 Vodafone jobs are to be axed in West Berkshire. Early indications are that the firm, which employs 4,000 in Newbury and Theale, expects the jobs to go by the end of the year.
The announcement comes months after 70 IT workers were sacked in Newbury, and two years after 275 local jobs went.
