| Following our news story yesterday, we have now discovered the reason for the filming.
The BBC TV crew were filming for a new TV series called "Smart Spenders". The series aims to educate people how to better utilise their cash - how to budget, and how to shop around for bargains.
The film crew are understood to be filming with a family from Inkpen. They were in town yesterday (Monday) and we understand that filming took place in Northbrook Street and in particular in Camp Hopson.
As yet we have no date for the screening of this new series. Presumably it will be early 2005. |
