| CONTROVERSIAL plans to demolish a trio of terraced Victorian homes in Craven Road to make way for 14 flats could go either way.
Despite strong objections from local groups and 24 neighbours, town planners are prepared to agree to the scheme, as long as developer Renaissance Habitat hands over £120,600 .
But the developer has disputed that more than £8,600 from each flat should be handed over to support schools, parks, road improvements and extra CCTV.
Earlier plans were rejected by planners, so unless a compromise can be struck by decision day next Wednesday, the planners said they would throw it out. |
