Supporting the year of the Volunteer
20th June 2005 8.37am

Newbury’s MP, Richard Benyon, has thrown his full weight behind Volunteer Centre West Berkshire and their promotion of the “Year of the Volunteer”.

Our photograph shows Richard Benyon , Volunteer Centre West Berkshire’s, Gary Poulson and West Berkshire Council Chairman, Cllr John Chapman.

Richard Benyon said “West Berkshire people are generous in so many ways, not least the amount of time they are prepared to put into volunteering. The Volunteer Centre provides a superb link for those looking for voluntary work and local organisations looking for volunteers. I wish them well in this important year.”
