| BBC1’s flagship political discussion programme will be coming to The Corn Exchange on Thursday 17 November for a live broadcast of the long running series.
The show hosted by David Dimbleby, who has held the post for over 10 years, typically features politicians from the three major political parties and other public figures who answer questions put to them by the audience.
The programme has seen many altercations over the 25 years that it has been aired including Private Eyes editor Ian Hislop attacking Jeffrey Archer whilst his wife Mary Archer was a fellow panellist.
Questions are taken from the audience before the programme goes on air, and the chairman picks some to put to the panel. The panel do not get to see the questions before filming begins, meaning the guests' answers are not prepared. During the programme, the presenter selects a member of the audience to put a question to the panel and gives each member an opportunity to answer the question and each others' points.
Please note tickets are not available from The Corn Exchange Box Office.
