| Local police will be facing the Newbury public next month to answer growing criticisms of the service.
Although crime levels in Newbury are only a quarter of the national average, and satisfaction with Thames Valley Police is running at 66% this year.
newbury.net’s forum has been inundated with people quizzing police priorities, so local people have a say on what we want officers to deal with.
The meeting is at St Bartholomew’s School on Tuesday March 21 at 7pm. West Berkshire Council and Sovereign Housing Association will also be sending representatives to address relevant issues. |
