Vodafone upgrades 3G for Londoners
12th March 2006 23.33pm

Londoners are to be the first to receive a new broadband upgrade from Vodafone.

After successful trials here in Newbury, Vodafone says it’s ready to offer a new highspeed service to give 3G customers broadband four times faster than the current offer.

UK chief executive Tim Miles said: “We have seen high demand for 3G since its launch two years ago and our customers are hungry for the improvements that HSDPA will deliver. These important trials are part of a continuing drive to lead the UK through superior network performance and a customer experience that is second to none.”
