Three legged dog looks for new home
14th April 2006 9.39am

The staff at Dogs Trust Newbury are desperate to find a new loving home for Daffy – a stunning three year old, three legged Terrier.

Daffy (pictured) came to the Rehoming Centre at Plumbs Farm, Hamstead Marshall this week as a stray after being picked up by the local dog warden.

“Daffy is a wonderful little dog. He certainly doesn’t act like a dog with three legs – he is a really handsome chap who loves company and playing with his toys. He’s looking for an active, adult household – or a family with older children – where he can bring lots of love and laughter to each and every day.”

Dogs Trust Newbury cares for around 65 dogs at the Rehoming Centre at any one time and last year cared for almost 500 dogs. Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity with 16 Rehoming Centres across the UK, caring for over 13,500 dogs every year. To find out more about Daffy or any of the dogs at Dogs Trust Newbury please call the Rehoming Centre directly on 01488 658391.
