Fun for Half Term in the Market Place
06th October 2007 1.31am

If you love animals then you’ll want to visit the Market Place on Friday 26 October from 10am – 3pm, an event sponsored by Kennet Shopping

Kidsrome the Farm On The Moooooove Is operated by the Skidmore Family. They are Rare Breed enthusiasts and have enjoyed many successes showing their livestock at local and county shows.

The animals are in pens under canvas barns. A very safe, sheltered and friendly environment for the animals and visitors.

You’ll find a selection of large and small animals which you can stroke and, if appropriate feed, or groom. Due to the Foot and Mouth restrictions there will be no cloven hoofed animals attending but there’s still lots to see, donkey, pony, rabbits, ducks to name a few.

Of particular interest is the guinea pig village where there are a number of different building façades which the guinea pigs enter and move between. See them climb into their cars too. All great fun and endless amusement to onlookers.

To add to the fun there’s a ‘Spot the Guinea Pig’ competition too with fantastic prizes. So come along and brighten your day.
